1 tbsp olive oil
1 shallot, minced
1/4 cup wild rice
1/2 cup brown jasmine rice
3 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup Traina California Bing Cherries 
Salt & pepper to taste
1 bay leaf
1 tsp minced parsley
1/3 cup slivered almonds, toasted
Add olive oil to 2 qt saucepan. When oil is hot, lower flame to medium high and saute shallots until just golden.
Add stock, bay leaf, salt and pepper. When Stock simmers, add wild rice.
Cook covered for 30 minutes. Add jasmine rice and continue cooking for 20 min.
Add Traina California Bing Cherries, stir.
Cook a few more minutes until broth is absorbed completely.
Remove bay leaf. Stir in herbs and top with toasted almonds.
